Group Retirement Solution
Retirement plans are crucial to the success of many businesses, but the administration and regulations associated have proven to be difficult for many business owners. For this reason, we have teamed up with Associates Financial Group and created our Group Retirement Solution to help with this difficulty.
Our Group Retirement Solution (GRS) 401(k) is an aggregated solution based on sound structural elements that have been reviewed and successfully tested based on fiduciary responsibilities specified in the law and regulations, from the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor, Employee Retirement Income Security Act and other government agencies.
Our retirement solution is built around 5 issues employers want solved:
Easier to Administer 401(k) Plans
Employers outsource the functions and liability of the retirement plan administration. We become each employer's retirement plan support team in action and accountability. This program eliminates a majority of your plan administration burden, allowing you to focus on your business.
Compliant 401(k) Plans
Employers face a voluminous number of regulations, documentation, record keeping and tasks that come from IRS and DOL requirements. Our team, as ERISA 3(16) Plan Administrator on each plan, takes on oversight and execution of tasks required to keep each plan compliant.
Substantial & Well Known Providers
Since 2004, our team has been offering aggregated retirement services. The program combines 3(16), 3(38) and TPA services for "end to end" retirement plan oversight. We team with well-known industry leading Record Keepers and Investment Managers.
Protection from Fiduciary Liability
We take on the highest level of fiduciary liability by serving as an ERISA 402(a) Named Fiduciary on each plan. This makes our program responsible and accountable for operational investment oversight. Our administrator signs off on all actions and decisions made for each retirement plan in the Group Retirement Solution.
Pay Reasonable Cost
Leveraging the aggregation model results in minimal billable to the employers in the Group Retirement Solution. This allows monies that would normally be spent on fees, to instead be used for enhancements to the retirement plan offering. The GRS retirement plan is competitively priced and often costs less than other programs offering fewer comprehensive services.
